HR Specialist [Egypt]


 

As an HR Specialist, your responsibilities will extend beyond a singular focus. You will engage in diverse People related activities, including but not limited to recruiting and conducting interviews for selected roles, assisting with the inputs for payroll, facilitating the onboarding of new employees, addressing local employee concerns, organizing employee engagement activities for the local team, and serving as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees.


What you’ll do:

  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process for the roles in Cairo office, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and

  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employment, including social insurance registration and other formalities.
  • Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees and conducting exit interviews when necessary.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions, following the company's policies and procedures and ensuring fairness and compliance with labor laws.
  • Stay updated on the latest labor laws, regulations, and best practices in Egypt and recommend necessary adjustments to the company's policies and practices.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the HR function and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee surveys.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related challenges and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of overall HR experience, preferably in both well-established organizations and start-ups.
  • Strong knowledge in Egypt's labor laws, regulations, and social insurance requirements.
  • Good understanding of the full hiring process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work with ambiguity.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR best practices and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
