What’s the role?

As our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the full financial performance & planning cycle of the Market Organization. We consider controller as a main stakeholder for all departments which means high level of trust and responsibility.

What does the role involve?

Your daily job will consist of communication with high and middle management (Sales and Marketing Directors), involvement in strategy planning, and driving change management within the organization to achieve long-term goals.

Other tasks you will be responsible for:


  • Month-End Closing & Year-End Closing Process
  • Financial Planning (Rolling Forecast & Game Planning)
  • Driving & supporting x-functional (Sub) Regional projects
  • Ownership of follow-up on result evaluation.

You will be the only controller responsible for dedicated organization, and you will have the full support from multi-national controlling department which is responsible for other finance business areas (e.g.: territory planning, pricing, margin steering, etc)
You will own the whole finance planning & reporting process and have the opportunity to develop your work experience abroad as part of your career path at Hilti.

  • Czech/Slovak speaker
  • University degree
  • Background in finance/business/economics
  • International mobility
  • Fluent communication in English
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in finance (audit or controlling preferred)
  • Be in a role of the business partner
  • Ability to see things from a bigger picture, connecting the dots
  • Team player
