Reporting to the CEO, the Export Manager will be responsible for achieving the sales & profitability targets for all international export sales, by developing, growing and managing commercial relationships with Export associates, distributors & customers.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of success in export management, who will play a key role in expanding the company's international reach and growing the company' s customer base.
She/he will be a full commercial P&L owner of the International (exports) business of the company and manage the relationships with key exports stakeholders (external and internal) in order to achieve the sales & profitability company results.
More specifically, the right person will:

- Develop and implement strategies to increase international sales and expand the company's global reach
- Manage the company's export operations, including coordinating shipments, customs clearance, and document preparation
- Maintain strong relationships with international clients and distributors
- Analyze current performance, monitor market trends, competition, regulations, and developments in the industry to identify opportunities, threats and define countries - market priorities
- Drive and secure commercial agreements with distribution partners, in full alignment with agreed export commercial guidelines
- Closely manage distribution partnerships in order to build country plans, implemented with excellence, and maximize sales performance
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and sales, to ensure smooth and efficient export operations
- Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of export transactions and compliance with regulations
- Provide customer service to international clients and resolve any issues that arise
- Invest 50% of work time in international markets, meeting current and prospect distribution partners. Attending 3-4 international exhibitions and meeting prospective customers and partners
- Experience in international export sales (more than 5 years) in the FMCG field with some established connections in key countries (Europe, USA/Canada, Middle East, Asia)
- MBA / Bsc in international business, commercial - marketing-related studies, logistics or related fields
- Strong knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and procedures
- Good understanding of FMCG product & channel strategies, pricing and export mechanism, as well as managing international partnerships
- Some experience in opening new markets, negotiations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels (oral & written)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and export software programs
- Excellence in Business English Proficiency, second or third language will be a plus
- Advanced proficiency in business software (ERP, MS Office - Excel mostly, etc.)
