Job Description
Position Summary:
You will play an important role in supporting the growth of Lazada’s sellers assigned to your care. As a business consultant, you will serve as a professional advisor to Lazada’s online business owners / sellers to assist them to achieve their business goals by:
1. Providing business performance updates to sellers and store analysis.
2. Analysing and recommending Lazada solutions (tools, programs & campaigns) to sellers to help them grow their stores.
3. Address sellers’ concerns regarding operations, finance, logistics and campaigns and provide solutions.
Objectives:
1. Educate new sellers on how to sell and grow their stores with Lazada.
2. Boost sellers’ revenues consistently.
3. Provide sellers with positive selling experience with Lazada.
Responsibilities:
o Accountability & Ownership – calling back on time
o Adjusting to the sellers’ pace and needs
o Escalating matters – in case business owners raises issues outside of scope and support

Responsibilities:
- Familiarise with tools and solutions offered by Lazada to sellers, with the focus of communicating and encouraging sellers to adopt relevant tools and solutions to improve their performance
- Analyse sellers’ business performance to support sellers with insights on tools adoption, relevant practices to improve business performance on Lazada. This includes understanding trends on seller’s performance, practices on Lazada, and advise sellers accordingly on the best steps to gain advantage to achieve better performance
- Strong communication skills and actively engage with brands and sellers on a daily basis to support on their plans and issues if needed.
- Build rapport with sellers and provide positive consultation experience with:
o Accountability & Ownership – calling back on time
o Adjusting to the sellers’ pace and needs
o Escalating matters – in case business owners raises issues outside of scope and support
- Ensure daily & monthly targets are met
- Analyzing data and preparing weekly performance figures to management along with key solutions, active participation in weekly and monthly business reviews.
- Familiarise with e-commerce knowledge and market trends to devise business strategies for sellers under your care

- Sales and problem-solving mindset: able to provide and convince clients to adopt solutions
- Able to use data analytical skills to advise seller on business plan and adopt Lazada business solutions
- Self-motivated individual who can perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Able to break down complex issues into executable strategies and detailed tactics.
- Be able to quickly adapt to changes and come up with creative solutions to drive impact and deliver results.
- Provide constructive feedback to internal stakeholders to optimize process and improve operation efficiency. Meanwhile, be opened minded to identify valuable feedback from others and then take actions accordingly.
- Able to handle rejection
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint) and data analytics
- Language proficiency: English, Malay
- Mandarin speakers are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in another E-commerce business
- Industrial knowledge from either online or offline retail industry.
- Sales and account management related experience.
