Job Description
- Lead strategic and financial planning process for Taiwan
- Ensure to meet the company targets on profit and cash flow.
- Manage all accounting and financial activities with internal control.
- Be a valued business partner throughout the entire organization.
- Develop optimized work process.
- Hire, retain and develop finance people.
- Responsible for overall direction and control for finance and accounting functions applying principles of both Taiwan and Hong Kong.
- Managing profitability and maintaining sound financial position through financial analysis, budgeting, sales planning process and capital plan.
- Providing qualitative information about competitors, food / beverage industries, and
- macro economic indicators.
- Developing and improving the company's policies, procedures & systems for finance.
- Manage company's taxation affairs to minimize risk and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Proactively taking value-creating initiatives for company's growth, and maximizing
- shareholders' value.
- Provide Country Manager and Senior Management with business advice and counsel for sound decision making in all aspects of business
The Successful Applicant
- A degree holder in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration with professional accounting designation (AICPA license) or a master's degree in finance or business are nice to have
- Minimum 10 years of finance working experience.
- Bilingual to be able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin (oral and written communication).
- Strong finance background with commercial experience/business acumen.
- Strong leadership, management, strategic planning and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high degree of organizational skills to be able to lead and motivate people at all levels in the organization.
- Specialized knowledge of accounting, financial management, tax regulations, internal control
- Possess grounding in company's Values and country Business Leader Model.
- Experience working in FMCG is plus.
